Dick Smith is offering 50% off the new Vodafone Pocket Wifi 2. Pocket Wifi 2 supports 2100, 900 and 850 - all 3 UMTS bands used in Australia. This deal seems to be only available online - so that means you need to pay for postage.

The modem appears to Huawei E585u-82. It is unclear whether it can be unlocked in the same way as a E585. I know most people don't like Vodafone, but this modem, if unlocked, would work for all AUS mobile networks.

Hopefully, it is not a pricing error and it is indeed the new Pocket Wifi 2.
