Just contacted my vodafone distributer and she has said that she can give me the Samsung Galaxy SII for $45 over 24 months with a credit of 6 months x $45 if there are 8 people that join with her as a group.
This comes to 45x24-45x6=$810 over 24 months for the samsung galaxy SII.
On the $45 plan, you get unlimited calls to land and mobile, unlimited text and MMS to Aust and Overseas.
If you sell the samsung galaxy SII on ebay for $600, you get unlimited calls for 810-600=210 over 24 months which comes to $8.75 per month for unlimited calls and sms. I dont believe there is a better deal on the market.
The small print stuff is that voicemail, 13, 18, international calls, optus call connect comes off your $45 credit per month
and only 500mb of data per month.

I know that it is on the vodafail network but reading posts, they are getting better. In the city areas they do very well.
